-January 01, 2006- Almost Betcha didn't expect an update after all this time. Yeah, I made another one. I was planning on making it hand drawn, though it was too annoying with my current skills, so I reverted it back to sprite format. Now, the reason it took so long was that since I was having so many problems with it, I took a break for a while to do other things. Started a new comic, though I don't have a site for it yet. Check later. In addition to this update, as you can see, the layout of the site underwent some minor changes. Among which is the new link to the forum. Yes, I'm working on one, though as of now, it's incomplete. I'll make an update once the forum is available. It shouldn't take that long, though, so again, check later. Peace. -November 21, 2005- As you can see, AT is finally back. The problem was that the host site [TFE] got deleted, and so AT was as well. I was hoping it would be back up, but it looks like that won't be the case, so another move was nescessary [much thanks to RPG Reactor for hosting]. Having some trouble with the new issue, and am just generally overstressed lately, so I haven't accmplished much. I have, however, worked on some side things, a number of which have been posted in the Other section of the site, so be sure to check them out. As for the new comic, I'm hoping to get it done this month. Later. -September 25, 2005- AnimeTronic 39- Graphic Rather than the usual sprites, I've decided to try a hand-drawn comic. Well, the characters were hand drawn, and everything else was done in Photoshop. The pros of this are that it's easier to do, as well as I'd be able to make more action, and facial expressions. The cons are my limited drawing skills. In my opinion, this one is adequate, and I'm unsure which method I preffer. Comments welcome. Enjoy. In addition, I've gotten rid of the old mailing list. If you'd like to get on the new one, send me an e-mail, and I'll add you. Later. -September 09, 2005- AnimeTronic 38- Locationator Reprise With this issue, the short Wasteland story comes to a close. Relatively, the humor is weak. It seemed funny when I wrote it, but now I'm not so sure. I'll let you judge for yourselves. This one was fairly easy to make, since the hard parts are already done. And since I didn't mention it last time, yes, some of the background buildings are also in the Skyline drawing. Enjoy. But, there is something special about this update. That's right, today marks the anniversary of the creation of AnimeTronic! On this day, a year ago, The Return was completed and displayed. Since then, there have been 38 comics [really more], two site moves, and a lot of forum threads. I'd like to thank my fans and supporters, here's to the [hopefully] many years ahead for the AT crew. Later. -August 31, 2005- Yes, I managed to finish it before September. AnimeTronic 37- Wasteland Wow, been a really long time since my last comic. Took longer than it should have due to my lazy nature. Anyways, as you can see, this one has a new background, as well as two new, and detailed, chars. That's partly the reason It took so long. The mechs worked out pretty good, though I think the background isn't as cool as it could have been. A bigger problem I had was space. As you can see, a lot of panels look crowded. I'd have liked to fix this, but it would involve extending the panels, and that's a no. And again, the background blends in with the chars too much to my liking. Ah well, enough commenting, judge for yourselves. Enjoy. In addition, Other and Questions sections were updated. -August 20, 2005- Finally, as you can see, I'm finished with the new layout. In my opinion, it's a big improvement. The new layout also comes with a number of updates, such as a new ATS, new fan section, chat, 2 new additions to the other section, and a number of others. Check them out for yourselves, and please send me an e-mail if you encounter something wrong. Enjoy. -August 02, 2005- Yeah, yeah, I haven't updated the site with the Skyline drawing yet, so consider this sort of a temp update until I do. Later, you'll be able to find it in the Other section of the site. Anyways, the reason this isn't a normal update is that I'm once again working on a new [and much improved] layout, so I'll withhold updating until it's done. Expect a new comic sometime this month [not saying when] and keep checking for further developments. Most likely the next time I update, the layout will be new. Later. -July 10, 2005- AnimeTronic 36- Dubbed Yeah, it's not Friday, but whatever. I find that "updating on a certain day" thing irritating, so from now on, I'm switching back to updating whenever I finish. Anyways, this is the latest one. The idea is pretty good. Least, I think so. It's a 10-panel, and I usually don't do those, but I though I'd make an exeption this time. Enjoy. Site news: I'm making a fan section, so if you wanna do something, feel free to send it in. -June 25, 2005- Since I said I'd post my final decision later, here it is. Yes, I am taking a break from AnimeTronic. I just don't feel like working, so I'm shifting my focus to other things. As of now, the break is indefinite, so it may be a while until a new comic is posted. When I do, it will be on the usual day, Friday, so check every week, if you want. Later. -June 17, 2005- AnimeTronic 35- Two in One This is basically two 4-panel comics in one. It gave me a little trouble, though it was comparatively easy. No new characters or anything of the sort, just dialogue and some background editing. I guess that's all I have to say about it, enjoy. In addition, as you can see, a new ATS is up. It was done in a hurry, hence the simple background. Also, I may be taking a break from AnimeTronic, so this may be the last comic you see in a while. I'll keep you posted. -June 10, 2005- If you're checking to see a new comic, sorry, there isn't one. This week has been really hectic and exhausting, and I wasn't able to finish it in time. To make up [and I try not to promise things, but I'll make an exeption this time] I'll post two comics next week, one classic and one Zero. I apologise again, later. -June 05, 2005- A new button, to commemorate AnimeTronic Zero. It gave me some trouble at first, but it turned out really well, especially the animation. Characters section updated with two new chars. -May 27, 2005- AnimeTronic 34- RPG 2, Part II I really didn't expect to get this one done in time. The past week has been kinda hectic, and I didn't bother working for several days. Anyways, this one turned out pretty good. The monsters somewhat gave me trouble, but other than that, things went smoothly for the most part. And in case some of you are wondering, yes, panel 3 was taken from my Pixelated Silver gif. Pixelated Smashu turned out really well, I should add. As usual, enjoy. In addition, I'd like to remind you all again to vote for AnimeTronic. -May 23, 2005- The site was down the past weekend, in case you were wondering. There was a problem, but things are back to normalnow. Anyways, made a banner, the first one: It's rather simple, since I made it pretty fast, though it's effective. Plus, it has our unnofficial slogan on it. It can, of course, be used for linking, so click it to get the code. Also, the site is now on the TopWebComics list, so it would really help if you vote and vote often. In addition, if you know of any other topsite lists, feel free to e-mail me. -May 20, 2005- AnimeTronic 33- RPG 2, Part I This one was a little hard to do, what with all the things I needed to work on, such as the backgrounds and the additional chars. Though, it turned out pretty well considering I was pressed for time. Working on a deadline is harder than I initially thought, but I intend to stick with it. Anyways, this is done in the same style as number 17, and it's a two parter, so expect part 2 next week. Enjoy. In addition, sonce it's been almost a month, a new ATS is up. Expect a new one every four weeks. As for the old one, you can find it in the other stuff section of the site. Later. -May 13, 2005- AnimeTronic 32- Deadly Arts Comparatively, this one got done pretty fast. I'm hoping by working on a schedule [one per week], things will become more consistant and that the fan base will grow as a result. Anyways, you'll notice some improvements in this one, namely the title letters, as well as the standard room background. Both of these turned out really well, with no flaws worth mentioning. The plant, however, gave me some trouble, seeing as how it took me a while to get the design right. I'm still not that happy with it, but it's good enough. I'm trying to get the backgrounds to be less empty, hence the need for the plant and other accessories seen. Anyways, enough rambling, enjoy! Heeey, it's Friday the 13th! -May 11, 2005- Added a new questions page, so check it out if you'd like to ask me something. It was realtively easy to make, which is why I got done with it so fast. Minor character edits, mostly dialogue, and the humor is decent by my standards. Enjoy! In the future, you can expect several singles, then perhaps another story, though I'm unsure as of what yet. Later. -May 04, 2005- Did another change in the layout. Well, just added the repeating letters background. I'm unsure if this is a change for the better or for worse, so tell me what you think by e-mailing me, or posting a comment in the guestbook, or something. I really need a better system. In addition, check out the affiliates. -April 30, 2005- AnimeTronic 30- Commieman This one took a while for reasons. I guess I didn't work on it enough. But, at least I managed to finish it this month, which was my goal. Anyways, I hit a snag with character placement yesterday that was bugging me, but I managed to fix it before going to sleep. With that, it was easy to finish it. Commieman makes a debut as the Hazard story draws to a close. I'll try to make the next one at a faster rate. Enjoy. -April 22, 2005- By now, you've probably noticed the image above this post. It's an AnimeTronic Short, or an ATS for short. From now on, they will be displayed on the main page of the site. The reason for this is that problems keep arising with the move, so things are at a standstill. I don't know when the site will move. i'm hoping soon, but it really doesn't seem like it, and I'm starting to think it won't happen at all. I'll keep you updated on the events. Later. -April 08, 2005- If you've viewed any of the other places I post the comic, then you probably know that a new issue is out. I didn't update the site because I'm doing changes on the layout that aren't complete yet. In addition, the site is going to be moved yet again [sorry], and when that occurs, I'm gonna make this page automatically redirect there, just like the last time. In the meantime, the best other place to check out AnimeTronic is DeviantArt, so check there for the new one. Later. -March 17, 2005- Added a new characters page, which is mostly comprised of characters that did not appear in the new comic version [save for brief mentions in 16.1 of some of them]. I do intend to add some more familliar characters later on. In addition to this, I've also made a new avatar of Raiagulon, which is displayed on the right, as well as in the other section. Later. -March 14, 2005- I probably didn't mention it here, but for a while now, I've been planning to make another comic. This comic [yet unnamed] isn't humor based, and instead follows an rpg-esque storyline. It's still in planning stages, and I'm working on the storyline, the world, and the characters, a bunch of whom i have thought out. Anyways, once the comic is underway, I'll branch out this site to include it as well as AnimeTronic [I'll still keep them considerably seperate], but until then, you most likely won't be hearing much about it here. My DeviantArt page has been labeled the unoffical headquarters for the new comic, so check there for news, if you're interested in it. In addition, I posted a sprite of the main char in the other section here. As for AnimeTronic, I'm currently working on a new issue, though judging by my pace, it may be a while until it's up. I'm somewhat busy in other things, but spring break is coming up soon, so I'll have plenty of time to work. Some big things are on the horizon for AnimeTronic in the later issues. Of course, I'm keeping them a secret until then. In addtion, you may get to see the lost issue [number 18] sometime soon as well. Later. -March 06, 2005- AnimeTronic 28- Rescue Effort This one got done pretty fast. Worked on it for about two days. Anyways, the adventure still continues, though it's close to finishing. Of course, I won't reveal what happens. Anyways, I'm not that happy with the way the gun blast turned out. It feels like it's missing something, though I can't really determine what. As usual, enjoy. Wonder if I didn't mention it, would anyone notice. Oh well. As you can see, this one didn't take me a month to do. I've regained some of my interest in making them. Anyways, this one was pretty much easy to do. The cage gave me a little trouble, but other than that, can't complain. Enjoy. -February 23, 2005- AnimeTronic 26- Battlefront Here it is, way later than I have an excuse for. I guess I'm not feeling an urge to work on these. Anyways, this one features a new "walking pose", which I think turned out pretty good. The humor isn't that strong, but I got funny stuff planned for the future, just gotta get to it. Anyways, enjoy. -February 13, 2005- Well, the site was moved to Freewebs. There is some minor work to be done, but the move was successful. I'm not sure about my course of action, but until I am, there will be no updates on here. AnimeTronic 25- Hazardous Whoo! Yes! I'm finally done with it! Silver has conquered the difficult mountain known as work! Anyways, yeah, this is the result of working all this time. Well... also I took long breaks when I didn't feel like working, but whatever. The most difficult parts were the character design for the Hazard gang, but I think they've turned out pretty good. Though, in my opinion, the humor is mediocre, mostly because it's not easy making a plot which includes humor. Oh well, I seem to be going on and on. Enjoy. -January 28, 2005- Finally, the new layout I've been working on for a while is finished. I consider it a major improvement on the old one. As for the comics, the progress is going faster than before, and I expect to make a new one in the very near future, so keep checking for it. [Keep in mind that the old layout won't be updated] -January 22, 2005- Yup, another button. Well, just a re-edited version of the old one, with slight differences. Easier to make than the other, cuz the hard work was already done, I just did some recoloring and got rid of Silver at the end. Dunno which is better. I like both. -January 18, 2005- AnimeTronic 24- Lethargy The first comic of the new year. Yeah, I said that I won't make any nonsequential comics until I'm finished with the current story, but it would have taken far too long at the pace I'm going. So, here's this one, explaining just that. The second one done in stick-figure style [easier to make, heh]. Enjoy. -January 15, 2005- Oi, it's been like half a month, and yet no new comics. Anyways, worked on this one for several days. Took a break from comics for a while to make the site. Was kinda hard coming up with solid ideas, but I think it turned out aight. Anyways, the team embarks on another adventure, so be on the lookout for more. -December 23, 2004- At last, the site is [mostly] finished, and ready for display.
