Namco started with the 'Tales of' series on the Super Famicom, with the great Tales of Phantasia. Ever since the series has been expanded with 5 more games, of which the most well known are Tales of Destiny I and II for the Playstation. But these games were not nearly as good as the original game. Fortunately, Namco has come with Tales of Phantasia to make up for its mistakes.

Most RPGs today rarely receive the expansion treatment. The last RPG that had an expansion that I can remember is Ultima VII, with the Serpent Isle and Silver Seed add-ons. They were decent additions to the U7 mini-series, they added new weapons, new locations, enemies, etc. Now, after a decade of scarcity, the RPG expansion makes another momentous appearance; this time giving the treatment to Morrowind.

After the resounding success of Oblivion, I suppose it's only natural to expect copycat attempts to cash in on its popularity. That's not necessarily a bad thing; the world could use more open-ended RPGs and while Two Worlds doesn't even come close to touching The Elder Scrolls games, it's still worth playing.
