Miss. Wakasa is supervising a team of movers as they
remove everything from her house. She spots one of
Manaka's butterflies as it enters the house. She
follows it to the kitchen where it bursts. Shizue
appears again, this time she is not cruel to her
mother. She apologizes to her mother as she would
have the night that she was killed. She apologizes
for being stubborn and unable to show weakness.
Fading away she leaves a red carnation(gillyflower) for her
mother. Miss. Wakasa collapses to her knees crying.
Everything fades to black and the words
Love Thy Mother
Manaka laughing as she chases a number of her
butterflies back and forth across the park.
