Do you believe that mythical creatures like Bigfoot, The Loche Ness Monster, The Jersey Devil, and Mossman actually exist?
I myself believe that they are real even if there is no proof at all that they do exist. There has to be some creatures out there that are completely unexplainable.

That about sums it up.

Heh I believe in the extraterrestrials too.

Ok...when I posted this I wasn't thinking of extraterrestrials being mythical creatures, but it still works. I was talking about the ones from Earth.

The same applies. I'd like to believe they exist, though the evidence is very sketchy.

True, but there's got to be more out there than we know of. I mean with the discovery that the Seacant, the prehistoric fish, still exists there must be a lot more out there than what we've seen.

I think they found evidence that the Giant Squid exists too.

Yes they did, I saw stuff about that many times on the travel channel. I think it's on display at the Smithsonian.

They have been known of the giant squids existance for a while due to carcasses found on beaches. However, I'm not sure if they ever saw a live one.
Also, I'm not dismissing their existence, I'm just saying that it will take harder evidence for me to believe.

How could there be any harder evidence than what we already have? :?

Sketchy photographs are hard evidence?

Some of the photographs I've seen aren't really too sketchy.

I've seen a bunch of programs on bigfoot, nessie, ogopogo, and the like. Seems to me that the evidence doesn't really hold up to scientific scrutiny.

Bigfoot I can understand why there's doubt that it exists and same goes for Nessie...and Ogopogo and the like I have never heard of. But I've seen really good pictures and programs of Mossman and The Jersey Devil.

Never heard of the Mossman... unless you mean that mothman thing.

That is a possibility that it's Mothman...the guy who named it got it because he likes watching Batman.

Yeah, it's Mothman. There's a movie relating to it with Richard Gere, though I haven't seen it.

Oh ok. I must've just gotten the names mixed up. I've seen a clip that lasted a couple minutes and it didn't look too good, but it could've been a disappointing part in the movie.

I believe there are hundreds of things that mankind has yet to discover in the deepest, most foresaken places in the world...
That said, I'm more that a bit skeptic about urban legends like Bigfoot, fun to think about but hardly likely. Still... wouldn't it be fun to be a cryptozoologist?

I agree. It would be fun to be a cryptozoologist. Just researching everything that goes on and trying to prove it's real. That really sounds like fun to me.
