What kind of injuries have you had? I'm fortunate enough to have never suffered a major injury (a debilitating injury), but I did take a beating when I tried to ride the Ninja to the driveway.

Let this be a lesson to anyone who is thinking about riding a motorized two-wheel vehicle: master the unpowered cycles first! I have to admit, my balance with a bicycle isn't the greatest, so I'm not surprised my first reaction to that motorcycle jumping off the line when I released the clutch was to fall off.

The worst part is that it fell on my leg and left a ton of bruises; I couldn't twist my right leg for a few days because the bruises were so deep. I'm surprised it didn't break any bones because it was one heavy mother. Now I'm practicing with a mountain bike before I ever attempt to ride the Ninja again.

Minor scrapes here and there, nothing really major.

None. I have two scars, but not from injuries.

When I was young, I think I was 4, I was playing in my backyard with a stick and it poked me in the eye very quickly and I had to go in for surgery and to this day whenever a sharp object is pointing toward my eye I can feel it involuntarily twitch.

I hear that, your mind might forget that stuff but your body never does.

Yeah...it's horrible. I can't stand it. At least I can still see out of it, but it's not as good as it could be.

Let's see... I've fallen through glass, stepped on glass (broken bottle under an elevated parking lot), stepped on a nail, fallen through a screen door (don't ask), fallen down stairs (at least is wasn't backwards), and that's all I can think of off hand.

Nothing to serious though.

I'm in a lot of pain because of what happened last night. I got really pissed at something and I hit my head on a chair really hard. I thought the chair was padded and I feel like I may be a little concussed. It felt like an amatuer boxer punched me. I had to have someone remind me of what my middle name was!!!

When I was six years old I woke up with a broken finger... I never knew how it happened, I tend to sleep like a log...

I think I've started developing Carpal Tunnel. I don't know if that counts as an injury though.

Well, the most painful injury I have had was knocking my knuckle out of place. That...well kind of hurt alot. I was fighting some kid with a metal pole...he had one too...and well it just kinda broke. (He had a pole too :D) That's the worst injury...for me.

Yikes! That sounds really painful! I'm lucky enough to have avoided any major physical injuries over the years, The worst I've probably had was in fifth grade when a soccer ball to the head knocked me unconscious (...broke my glasses, too!) At least I can laugh about it now...

Oh man...my list of injuries is huge!

I'll keep to the ones i remember:

I was stabbed in 1999...that hurt like a mofo. It was in my upper thigh.

Kicked in the jaw in 2005 dislocated it... you have to be 19 or over to hear that story

Tore my ligament in my ankle 3 or 4 times now...most recently in 2004 when i jumped into a pothole.

Stabbed in the shoulder [by accident] while fencing in 2005

Hit by a car in 1997 on my bike...no serious injuries, minor bruising

Fell down 5 flights of stairs in 2003...doont remember much after.

Woke up drunk tommorow morning.

Add another one to my list; I was taking the 90 out today and I decided to try my luck with tight u-turns. Unfortunately, I got a little close to the curb and broke two of the golden rules of motorcycling; never slam the brakes when in the middle of a turn and never fix your gaze on something for too long! I was maybe going about 5 MPH, but I really shouldn't have been in 3rd gear.

Needless to say, my left knee hit the ground first, then the bike and finally my left palm. Left a pretty sizeable cut on my knee and some minor road rash on my palm. Luckily the bike was OK, but unlike me they build these things to fall over. I should have been wearing my gloves at least. :(

Ow...that sucks. I accidentally cut 2 people today (one of them punched me and at the same time they punched my watch, the other I accidentally cut with my notebook when I was passing by).

Yeah but more funny than painful. I think accidents like those are really comical!

I have full safety gear from the head on down to my feet, but I just didn't feel like wearing them. It's almost 80 degrees in the morning and the bike really isn't that threatening.

I'm going to try it again tomorrow, this time with my foot down and in 1st. :D

I got hit in my "weak spot" (I hope you get what I mean) with a soccer ball (when the person kicking it was 3 feet away) and then I was tripped and I sprained my wrist.
