Soon it will be a fat person's favorite holiday, Thanksgiving (if you are fat, I appologize). It's a boring holiday to me since I'm a very skinny person, but can still out eat a bunch of people. Why have I been cursed to a super skinny body? Do you like this holiday for the reason of getting together with your family and eating?

We probably aren't going to do much eating this Thanksgiving; we're heading to the Sierras and it's going to be mighty challenging up there this time of year. Hopefully the truck is good in the snow. :?

That's very odd...that's the first time I've ever heard of someone going somewhere different than someone's house or a park for a picknick.

 I just misread that and thought "did he just say he can still eat a bunch of people!?"
Anyway, for personal reasons, I'm not very fond of thanksgiving... That said, my family doesn't usually have the oppertunity to all sit down together, so that's always a highlight.

I usually don't sit down with my family. I just get my supper and go to my basement for some peace and quiet.

We try to go there as much as possible since it's such a nice place. It's really primitive though; the T.Vs in that house are ancient, but at least they've got cable as well as some premium channels. I have to say though, that house is the last place you'd want to be trapped in because cabin fever would sink in very quickly.

You know, sad as it is, if it weren't for my oldest brother there probably wouln't even be a tv in this house. And a computer? Hah, my parents would still be living in the stone age. Raised in a house like this, no wonder I'm rather fond of technology.
Eh, for some reason my family always ends up hosting all the holiday parties. I'd actually enjoy going somewhere else for once.

I've never had cabin fever and I don't want to get it. That means that I probably won't get it. I hate cabins so much (don't ask).

Yea, I hate it when you have to help prepare everything every time, but then again I'm not really keen on other people's cooking :D

but then again I'm not really keen on other people's cooking :D Oh geez, don't even get me started! XD I'm really picky when it comes to food and that's half the reason I don't enjoy thanksgiving. My family's used to it, but I feel bad rejecting other people's homemade dishes...
It's fun being Canadian. I had Thankgiving last month.

I knew Canada had a Thanksgiving, but I didn't bother to ask since I thought it was a stupid question. It would just like me asking some Australian if Australia had an army or a navy.
