Best Advice Given To You

The best advice given to me was something very wierd, but still the best one yet. My dad said to me last week. "Know what? Don't listen to me. Just sit there and look at porn all day" That has seriously been the best advice my dad gave me, but also is the funniest thing he's ever said to me. What advice have you been given?

I've never been given any decent advice from an actual person. That's not to say I've never received advice, but there's nothing I can remember. Most of the advice I receive comes from anime, which would probably explain why I spend so much time looking for inspiration in the real world.

I guess it does explain a lot. If I could receive advice from anime. The only advice I got from anime is never become a homicidal maniac.

I suppose since we're on the subject of advice from anime, here's one of the best ones I've gotten:

"Nagi, how do you feel about being 'normal'? Normal means that if you leave something alone, it just remains that way forever. So if you can't stand that, then you have to be "not normal" in some area."

Naturally, I got this from Boogiepop Phantom.

Of course this isn't necessarily aimed towards the viewer, but I like to draw parallels.

Oh, that's what you meant. I don't get much of that. I watch a lot of anime, but I don't pay attention to the advice they're giving.
