RPG Makers

does anyone else here make RPG's? If so, which systems?

I use RMXP, RM2k3, ZMMCS, and Sphere....

I tried it with RPG Maker '03, but failed due to inability to make custom stuff. I did manage to make the chars, but for some reason it wouldn't read anything else.

I made a lot of games with RPGmaker 2000 / 2003...although I never finished them. I got really far with a Zelda game I was working on, but as a many things in my life, I lost interest and I erased the project, and the gamecreation program with it (until I get the urge to be creative and I download it again).

I recieved "RPG Maker" for PS1 as a gift several vears ago. The thing was a pain in the ass to work with and it's a surprise I didn't give up. I did however make a fairly amusing RPG starring a chicken...

I was thinking of buying that PS1 version back when it came out, but I heard so many bad things about it and it kinda paled in comparison to the PC versions.

Yeah, I don't recommend it at all. I haven't tried any of the PC versions yet, but I heard they were far superior. However, there is another RPGmaker being released for PS2 that looks significantly better than the previous two installments. It's best not to get our hopes up though.

RMXP, Its my favorite to use at the moment, you can get new systems by using RGSS Scripts.

I use RMXP. I've gotten quite good with the scripts (though it helps that I write programs for a living). There are tons of resources and such, and it's just gotten so crazy what you can do with it.
