New Game+
After beating the game once, you will be prompted to save your clear game data. Do so and load the data to start a new game but with your current level, your Persona compendium, equipment, gameplay time, maxed Social Links and access to the Monad Block. Along with that, you get to fight an optional boss. Note that all consumable items will disappear from your inventory.
Monad Block
The Monad Block is a secret, 10 floor block of Tartarus that houses the highest level Shadows found in the game. At the very top is also the toughest boss of the game. To unlock Monad, you must reach the last floor of Tartarus (254th floor) before the day of the final boss battle. Then return to the Velvet Room and speak to Elizabeth. A new request will appear and it will require you to defeat the Reaper. You can run into the Reaper by staying on a single floor in Tartarus for more than 5 minutes or you can pull a card imprinted with the skull and crossbones after a battle. When you defeat the Reaper, return to Elizabeth and she will award you 5,000,000 yen. When you return to the entrance of Tartarus, there will be a huge golden door on the right of the stairs. This will lead you into the Monad Block. Be careful, as the monsters are incredibly powerful, but they will also net you a ton of experience when you defeat them.
Restore party's HP and SP
Anytime in Tartarus, warp back to the first floor. Your party's HP and SP will be completely restored. Note: If a party member is "tired", they will go back to the dorm and you will not be able to use them until the following night.
Tips for Defeating the Reaper
Requirements:
1. Have Akihiko in the party. By this time, he would have all the "Ma - unda" debuff spells.
2. Have Odin w/ Thunder Reign
3. Be at least level 70+, level 80+ would make things a lot easier
4. 2 party members who can kick a lot of ass.
First turn -> The MC.
Cast Thunder Reign on the Reaper. Gets it Shocked so it can get knocked down easily
Second turn -> Second party member (set to "knock down" tactic)
Attacks Reaper and knocks it down. Perform an All-Out attack.
Third turn -> Third party member (set to "knock down" tactic)
He/she knocks down Reaper (Reaper is still in "Shocked" status so it will guarantee this). Relent All-Out Attack to let the Reaper to remain knocked down.
Fourth turn -> The Reaper.
Since it's still knocked down, it will use its turn to stand up. Voila. It can't attack you.
Fifth turn -> Akihiko. (set to "Heal/Support" tactic)
As a supporter, Aki will use his debuffs to lower the defense, attack, hit/evasion stats of the Reaper making your job of defeating it a whole lot easier. Also, he'll heal anyone if needed (specifically, party members like Junpei or Aigis who use their HP to do their Persona's skills)
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 until the Reaper is defeated.
Warning:
Thunder Reign does miss once in a while, so make sure you have a back up plan to recover from any ass-kicking you might get from the Reaper.
The easiest way to defeat the Reaper is to have both Lucifer and Satan, and have them use their Fusion Spell Armageddon to lay waste to the Reaper.
